For those who prefer to take their scenery straight.
Lodging
Whether you plan to spend your time at Lake O’Hara hiking in the backcountry or simply relaxing while taking in the stunning scenery, accommodation at the Lodge is a welcome sanctuary. Here, generations of adventurers have created a space that is proud to host the comforts of home while sitting at the edge of the untamed natural world.
Lodge Rooms
The historic Main Lodge is the original piece of our story. The eight rooms from the 1926 construction have been preserved and lovingly modernized over the years. They feature the original layout with two twin beds, but now include down duvets, hand-crafted furniture and Tiffany-style lamps. The European-style shared washrooms are large and well-equipped. They offer plenty of hot water so all guests can have a hot shower or a soak in the clawfoot tub after a long day on the trail. In the morning, enjoy a coffee on the mezzanine or by our picture window overlooking the lake. In the evening, hunker down with a glass of wine next to the stone fireplace, and view the photos of all the adventurers who came before you to make Lake O’Hara Lodge what it is today.

Dine
Thoughtful, satisfying meals are included in your stay. Our seasonally paired and ever-evolving menu is tailored to life in the mountains but defined by the Canadian landscape. Our menu is inspired by the Pacific Maritimes, the Cordillera, the plains, and the prairies. We curate, pair, and prepare the best Canadian provisions and deliver them to your plate. Dining at the Lodge is the comfort of home, elevated to the heart of the Rockies.
Sip
A selection of beverages compliments the wilderness of our remote backdrop. We choose libations made in British Columbia based on the calibre of their craftsmanship. Sip wine from grapes grown in the heat of the Okanagan, sample beers brewed with west-coast hops, and taste spirits distilled from crafters across the country.
